Air Tanks

Air tanks are an important component in the air systems of heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The air tanks or reservoirs store large volumes of compressed air, which is used to operate the suspension, brakes, and many accessory systems. They provide the air pressure used to operate trailer brakes. Air pressure is sent from the air tanks to the brakes by relay valves. Important parameters for the Air Tanks are Diameter, Length, Number and Location of Ports, Port Sizes and Mounting brackets.
